As a severe heatwave continues across eastern Australia, despite the Sunshine State's capital 'only' reaching 30.7C yesterday (2.4C above average), a combination of high humidity and cloud cover kept Brisbane very warm. The minimum of 24.4C was 5.6C above the November average of 18.8C and makes this the warmest night since November 2008 when a low of 24.5C was recorded.

Temperatures are expected to ease slightly next week, though they should remain above average, with high humidity levels continuing to create uncomfortable conditions. Isolated showers and storms may also develop, though the outlook remains complex. As the heatwave continues, stay hydrated and keep an eye on weather updates to manage the ongoing humidity.
